NFL reveals teams set to appear on HBO’s ‘Hard Knocks’

The NFL has announced the teams that will be feature on HBO’s acclaimed series “Hard Knocks.”

Josh Allen and the Bills quest to bring a Super Bowl to Buffalo will take center stage to begin the season when _Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Buffalo Bills_ makes its debut at 9 p.m. on Aug. 5.

The five-part series will then air on Tuesdays through Sept. 2. This is the first time Buffalo has been selected for the show, but as a top AFC contender it should be compelling for both NFL fans and members of the famed “Bills Mafia.”

Head coach Sean McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane will be featured alongside the 2024 NFL Most Valuable Player, quarterback Josh Allen, and an array of veteran and rookie players training at St. John Fisher University in Pittsford, New York.

The Bills will open preseason play on Aug. 9 against the New York Giants.

Also returning in 2025 is _Hard Knocks: In Season_ which this year will track the NFC East. It will debut in December and follow Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Washington Commanders and reigning Super Bowl LIX champion Philadelphia Eagles.

Both series are narrated by Liev Schreiber and will be available to stream on HBO Max.

HBO and NFL Films also recently announced a new long-term deal to ensure Hard Knocks continues.

“There aren’t many shows in history that have had a successful 25-year run,” said Ross Ketover, NFL Films senior executive. “We are thrilled that the partnership between NFL Films and HBO – which has captivated football fans for so long – will continue years into the future.”

Chicago was featured during training camp last season while the in-season series showcased the fierce rivals of the AFC North during its first season.
