MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Cam Ward, the top selection in this year’s NFL draft, has signed his rookie contract, which will be fully guaranteed.
The Tennessee Titans’ new man under center signed a 4-year, $48.7 million contract, the Titans announced on Wednesday.
The contract will include a $32.1 million signing bonus.
“It’s a blessing. I’m ready to get to work.”, said the quarterback.
The former Heisman trophy finalist is looking to elevate the Titans’ quarterback room, which has held them back in recent years.
Ward has a chance to be the first Titan’s QB to throw over 4000 passing yards since Warren Moon did it in 1991.
In the loaded star quarterback conference, the Titans have not had a Pro Bowl quarterback since 2019.
The Titans open their 2025-26 season in Denver vs the Broncos on September 7.
