One name that several Premier League clubs have been linked to signing is Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon, with Liverpool, Man United and Chelsea all having shown interest to the England international in the past.
According to a report by TeamTalk, Newcastle have told interested clubs that an £80m price would be enough to secure the signing of Gordon this summer. iNews also include that Arsenal are keeping an eye on Gordon’s situation at St James’ Park, and that they would be eager to snap him up if he became available for a transfer.
Gordon has made 39 appearances for Newcastle this season, scoring eight goals and providing six assists. He has also helped Newcastle get into a great position to secure Champions League football next season.
Arsenal could add Newcastle duo
Gordon isn’t the only Magpies player that Arsenal want to sign, as they have also been strongly linked to Alexander Isak.
However, it seems that Newcastle don’t want to sell Isak, as they have not recently named a price for the Swedish international. It is understood that it would take well over £120m if Arsenal wanted to sign Isak.
Instead, they are more likely to sign Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokeres for half of that (£59m), according to recent reports, they just need to agree personal terms with Isak’s fellow countryman.
