Arsenal have already started making some big moves with the summer transfer window opening on June 1. football.london understands that Mikel Arteta wants to sign a striker, wide forward, defender and back-up goalkeeper once Martin Zubimendi has officially joined from Real Sociedad.
Sporting director Andrea Berta has already seemingly made a mark with links to Viktor Gyokeres ramping up following his arrival in March.
Nico Williams, Bryan Mbeumo, Jorrel Hato and Joan Garcia are just a few others of interest in the desired positions with Real Madrid star Rodrygo the latest to emerge as a serious target. The Gunners could hugely benefit from that statement signing and it could be Rodrygo.
With all of that being said, football.london has taken a look at the latest Arsenal transfer rumours.
Gyokeres latest
Comments from two Sporting CP players look to have hinted that Gyokeres will depart the club this summer.
When asked if the squad have urged him to stay, Pedro Goncalves said: "I did and so did the whole squad. He says he's not a fortune teller.
"We still have the Portuguese Cup against Benfica to play. I have a very good relationship with him, but I don't talk about it with him."
Goncalves has made a point of remaining detached from the speculation surrounding Gyokeres, stating: "What I know is because of Fabrizio Romano... I'm sticking with him. I don't know if he's going to leave."
Francisco Trincao later joked that in order to keep him at the club he will, "try to lock Gyokeres in the gym".
football.london says: Gyokeres appears destined to leave Sporting and Arsenal have to make sure he is the club they join.
Interest outside of England is not exactly prominent and therefore if he does move elsewhere, it almost definitely strengthens a direct Premier League rival.
Arsenal first need to decide on the striker they wish to sign with Benjamin Sesko and Alexander Isak also of interest. Arteta and Berta do not appear to be aligned on that just yet and considering the importance of the addition in that section of the pitch, Arsenal have to get it right.
Huge Rodrygo update
Arsenal could soon be in pole position for the signature of Rodrygo with a transfer being seriously considered within north London, according to Sky Sports Germany.
The Brazilian is one potential exit candidate for Madrid this summer, though it is claimed they would demand up to £84million.
football.london says: Given the market opportunity that is there for any interested club, it makes complete sense for Arsenal to pursue a move for Rodrygo.
That versatile attacker who can pull of something out of nothing is something the Gunners have been missing. Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka consistently deliver but Rodrygo's experience at Real Madrid will count in those big moments.
If a striker arrives alongside him, Arsenal's front three could be frightening and with the solid foundations built in defence, a major trophy will surely be on the way.
