A look at the injury news surrounding Chelsea and Nottingham Forest ahead of a huge final day Premier League clash between the two Champions League hopefuls.

Taiwo Awoniyi - Out

Awoniyi required surgery after a pretty unusual injury. Santo has said: “The surgery went well... he's under observation now, but I think he's recovering. We have to wait for the doctors to allow visits - his family are there - we are concerned, but we are positive.”

Murillo - Fit

Murillo had an ankle scare but is expected to be fit to play this weekend. The defender said: “Initially, I heard a pop in my ankle, and I told the doctors I couldn’t go on, but we were close to half-time, so they were able to analyse the situation. I said if I don’t feel anything, I will carry on playing, and thankfully, the ankle is fine.”

Eric Da Silva - Out

There has been no news on Da Silva’s return. Santo has simply said: “We have a lot of players to assess. All the players who have been out are important to us.”

Nicolas Jackson - Out (Suspended)

Jackson is suspended after his red card during the Newcastle United defeat. Maresca has said of the suspension: “We don’t have Nico for this game and we are working on that. These are the options we have, unfortunately we don’t have many options [to play as a striker].”

Wesley Fofana - Out

Fofana will not return this season, with Maresca having said: “Unfortunately, Wes will be out for the rest of the season.”

Omari Kellyman - Out

Kellyman has confirmed he will miss the end of the season, writing on social media: “Beyond gutted to say that this season has come to an early end for me due to a re-injury of my hamstring. 24-25 has been a tough season for me mentally and physically due to injury, but it’s important now that I take time to get this right.”

Christopher Nkunku - Doubt

Maresca has been hopeful that Nkunku can return for this one. He said last week: “Christo is close to coming back and training with us. I said two weeks ago it was a very small problem, ten days, two weeks. Probably next week he can start already with us.”

Aaron Anselmino - Out

Anselmino has a hamstring injury that will keep him out.

Mykhailo Mudryk - Out (Suspended)

Mudryk remains out due to a suspension over alleged consumption of a banned substance. Maresca has said: “The only thing I can say is that we are close to Mykhailo as a club, and we are trying to help him. In terms of an update, I don't have one.”
