Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for Bayern Munich attacker Leroy Sane in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The 29-year-old former Manchester City attacker will become a free agent at the end of the season, and Sane has rejected the contract extension offer from Bayern.
Premier League rivals, Chelsea, are also interested in signing the German international, but the possibility of him staying at the Allianz Arena has not been completely ruled out.

Leroy Sane – Arsenal have made transfer decision
According to a report from Sky Germany, Arsenal have decided not to move for Sane in the transfer window.
The report claims that the Gunners are targeting a younger profile, and they have withdrawn from the race.
Arsenal are showing keen interest in Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo, and he is the type of profile Mikel Arteta is looking at this summer.
Will Leroy Sane stay at Bayern Munich?
It appeared that Sane would accept a contract extension offer from Bayern, and that he would stay with us beyond the end of the summer.
However, his situation has changed dramatically after he switched his agent to Pini Zahavi.
The Bild reported earlier this week that Sane will not accept our latest contract offer, while his wage demands, somewhere in the range of €20m [£16.83m], won’t be entertained by the German giants.
If Arsenal or Chelsea pull out of the race to sign Sane, it makes sense for him to stay at Bayern, as we feel he still has plenty to offer, irrespective of whether we sign Florian Wirtz or not.
With due respect to other Premier League clubs like Newcastle United or Aston Villa, his career will take a downward curve should he join them purely for financial reasons. At least links between Sane and Arsenal made a degree of sense for competitive reasons.
Sane has been one of our top performers over the years since joining from Manchester City in 2020. He has made 220 appearances for the Bavarian club and scored 61 goals and registered 55 assists in all competitions.
