Arsenal are already moving ahead with their summer transfer plans before they even round off their Premier League season.
The Gunners finish their campaign against already-relegated Southampton on Sunday and are preparing for a busy summer. Mikel Arteta's squad have clinched Champions League football for the upcoming season and are virtually guaranteed to finish second following their 1-0 triumph over Newcastle at the weekend.
But for new sporting director Andrea Berta, his work is beginning as he looks to finally sign a top-class centre-forward after a third consecutive second-place finish in the Premier League. However, there are a number of other deals to be made, including offloading the unwanted players in the squad.
Here, the Daily Star Sport looks at the latest Arsenal transfer news.

Viktor Gyokeres has admitted to his Sporting team-mates that he's uncertain about where he'll be playing football next season. Sporting clinched the league at the weekend and are now fully focused on beating Benfica on Sunday to win the Portuguese Cup.

Gyokeres has been heavily linked with a £60million transfer to Arsenal, but Sporting midfielder Pedro Goncalves says his teammate's future is still uncertain. "I asked him and we all asked him. He says he's not a fortune teller. We still have the Portuguese Cup against Benfica to play," he revealed to Canal 11.
Arsenal's new sporting director Andrea Berta has made signing Gyokeres his top priority. The Gunners believe they are leading the race, having indicated their willingness to meet the asking price and offer the Swede a contract worth £7m per year.

Arsenal are in discussions about releasing Jorginho early so he can join Flamengo in time for this summer's Club World Cup. Jorginho's contract is due to expire at the end of June, but Flamengo, like Trent Alexander-Arnold and Real Madrid, want him to join earlier to play in the Club World Cup.
The Gunners are currently negotiating to make this happen and are prepared to cooperate as a gesture of goodwill towards the Italian midfielder, who is highly regarded by Mikel Arteta. Flamengo's first match in the Club World Cup is on June 17, but the midfielder's current contract doesn't expire until the end of the month.
The former Chelsea midfielder, who joined Arsenal for £12 million in the summer of 2023, has made 79 appearances across all competitions under Arteta.

Riccardo Calafiori has denied rumours that he's eyeing an exit from Arsenal.
The Italian defender, who joined the Gunners last summer in a £42 million transfer from Bologna, has been the subject of speculation about a potential switch to AC Milan after an injury-hit first season.
Speaking to gianlucadimarzio.com, Calafiori addressed the transfer talk: "I am very happy at Arsenal. In my opinion, what was missing was just continuity this year," he said.

"I will try to be more consistent next year. When I was good, I always played and I also made the difference. The goal is just to stay in shape all year.

"Here I measured myself against the most important and difficult championship in the world. I saw that I can be there easily, this made me very happy and I am convinced of the choice I made. A regret? None, absolutely."
