Everton have completed their first signing of the summer transfer window.
Everton have made Carlos Alcaraz’s loan deal a permanent one after activating his £12.6m release clause.
Alcaraz has only joined on a two-year deal, which has surprised many considering he was expected to pen a deal until 2029.
Either way, it’s good business for the Toffees and now the attention immediately turns towards the next addition.
With that said, here are the three most likely arrivals after Alcaraz.

Everton’s three most likely signings after Carlos Alcaraz
Nick Woltemade (Stuttgart)
Everton tried to sign Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap and held positive talks, but he’s now closing in on a move to Chelsea.
The Toffees immediately turned their attention to Nick Woltemade, who netted 17 goals in the Bundesliga last term.
Stuttgart are attempting to tie Woltemade down to a new deal, with Moyes and his recruitment team circling.

Everton fans would love Woltemade and the 6ft 6 centre-forward just seems like the perfect fit.
Gustavo Hamer (Sheffield United)
Moyes has made it no secret that he wants to shop closer to home in the Championship.
“I know we’re in a world where we can pick players from any continent to play in the Premier League,” Moyes explained.
“A long time ago, it wasn’t as easy and maybe people didn’t look as far. We continue to look closer to home, which is the Championship. Last year, the Championship produced some incredible players like (Morgan) Rogers, (Adam) Wharton, (Jaden) Philogene possibly.”
That said, it’s no surprise the Toffees are looking at Gustavo Hamer, who was awarded the second tier’s Player of the Season.
Moyes wants to strike a £20m deal, and given that Sheffield United failed to gain promotion, they’re expected to be forced into a sale.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall
Moyes has been tracking Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall dating back to his West Ham United tenure, so clearly he’s a big fan.
Everton tried to sign Dewsbury-Hall in January, but that deal failed to materialise. They’re expected to renew their interest this summer, with the 26-year-old expected to be made available.
Dewsbury-Hall was dropped from the starting line-up in Chelsea’s UEFA Conference League final, despite playing virtually every other game.
So that may prompt him to consider leaving the West Londoners in search of regular football.
