Manchester United, Newcastle United, and Everton are all keen on bringing Aleksandar Mitrovic back to the Premier League.
According to a report from Caught Offside, Aleksandar Mitrovic could secure a return to England this summer as Manchester United, Newcastle and Everton are all keen on signing the former Fulham striker. There is no shortage of interest in the Al-Hilal striker, who is willing to take a pay cut to join a European club.
Mitrovic had established himself as one of the mainstays at Fulham, and multiple top clubs were keen on signing him when he decided to make the move to the Middle East in the summer of 2023.
The Serb has been one of the standout performers for Al-Hilal over the last two seasons. In the 2024/25 season, the 30-year-old was involved in a total of 36 matches and he ended up contributing towards 35 goals (28 goals, 7 assists).
While it is all going great for him on the pitch and he still has a year left on his massive £400,000-a-week contract in Riyadh, Aleksandar Mitrovic seems keen on securing a return to Europe. He is reportedly ready to take a significant pay cut to make it happen, and there is no shortage of interest in the Serbian striker.
Premier League trio keen on signing Mitrovic
Manchester United, Newcastle and Everton are all keen on signing him this summer. The Red Devils had a very disappointing 2024/25 campaign, and Ruben Amorim is looking at ways to reinforce his squad. The Portuguese tactician is prioritising bolstering his attack. While they have already added Matheus Cunha to their squad, Amorim wants to add another top striker.
Aleksandar Mitrovic is one of the names on their radar thanks to his excellent goalscoring record and his exceptional physical prowess. The Red Devils are monitoring him and could launch a move in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, Newcastle United and Everton are also interested in the proven Premier League star. The Magpies want another quality forward who can cover for Alexander Isak and provide competition to the Swedish striker.
Everton do not have enough quality in the final third, and David Moyes is looking to address that issue in the summer. Mitrovic did wonders for Fulham back in the day, and he could certainly help the Toffees.
Al-Hilal are open to sanctioning his departure for around £40 million, a valuation that comes as a boost for all interested clubs. One of the key reasons behind their willingness to sell is their ambitious plans for the summer, with his exit potentially paving the way for a blockbuster signing.
