There has been silence on David Moyes’ side when it comes to signing players for Everton, but he’s finally come clean.
Moyes is looking for a complete refresh in his Everton side as the club prepares for an exciting campaign.
Despite the success of his start to the second tenure, the Scotsman knows improvements are needed.
The window has started off well, as fans were happy to see Charlie Adam sacked after his set-piece coaching wasn’t good enough.
They will be hoping more good news follows, and what Moyes has said about the players he wants gives good reason for that happening.

David Moyes speaks out on the players Everton want to sign
The summer is filled with opportunities for The Friedkin Group to revolutionise the club from top to bottom.
With Moyes in charge of bringing in the recruitment, the signs are looking strong.
The Scotsman will have the test of dealing with many ongoing operations, as Jarrad Branthwaite’s exit will be crucial to what happens this summer.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Well, instead of focusing on the exits, Moyes has spoken to Everton’s club media about the type of players he hopes to sign.
“Characters will always make football clubs. We want ability and quality,” Moyes said.
“We have great characters here, and I need to add to that, and I need to continue to find people who can fill the boots of maybe ones which have left or may move on.
“So, yes, character plays a huge part in all managers’ decision-making.”

Moyes could be hinting at Richarlison transfer to Everton with ‘character’ claim
It might be a stab in the dark, but from Moyes’ view, he needs players who will fight for the badge and give 100%.
Character is crucial to a team building a project, and that’s exactly the position the Toffees are in at this moment, and what better way to introduce a character like Richarlison.
There is doubt that Everton will sign Richarlison, but the Tottenham striker has shown in the past he fits the bill for the character he wants, and what more character do you need than to celebrate with a flare?

It could be a subtle hint from the Scotsman, but overall, this deal happening looks unlikely.
What is clear is that Moyes has sent a message to the board with a clear recruitment focus in place.
