Everton are heading into a brand new era next season.
Indeed, it’s been a real period of change for the Toffees, a new stadium, new owners and a new manager will all be in place compared to the opening day of last season.
Everton are ready to step into a new era, and, the Merseyside club have plenty of money to spend this summer.
Everton have been linked with some ambitious targets, Richarlison has been linked with the Blues, while John Stones could return to play under David Moyes.
Of course, there are plenty of moves going on behind-the-scenes that we don’t quite know about yet.
Indeed, a lot of transfers happen in the shadows, and there’s reason to believe Everton may have just made a sneaky move for a big-name player.

Everton may be the team to have asked about Jadon Sancho
According to James Savundra, speaking on Sky Sports News, there are clubs in the Premier League who have asked about signing Jadon Sancho this summer.
Sancho spent last season on loan at Chelsea, but Enzo Maresca’s side have decided not to buy the winger.
According to Savundra, there have already been approaches around the £73m man.
“They’re expecting offers, and a number of clubs in the Premier League and Europe, we understand, have approached Sancho’s representatives about what a deal could look like. A loan can’t be ruled out at this stage, but ideally there would be a permanent sale.”
Of course, these teams remain unnamed for now, but it would make sense if Everton were in the mix here.
Why Everton could be in for Jadon Sancho
Numerous Premier League clubs are in for Sancho, and there are only a small pool of teams who could conceivably consider this deal.
Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City can be ruled out immediately due to their recent transfer decisions and the quality in their squad.
Meanwhile, Sunderland, Leeds and Burnley can be ruled out due to their respective budgets after promotion.
On top of that, it’s unlikely that the likes of Fulham, Brentford or Brighton could afford the wages to do this deal.
That leaves just a handful of teams, and Everton are certainly amongst that group.
Everton desperately need a new left winger this summer, Anthony Gordon still hasn’t been adequately replaced, and after the departures of Jesper Lindstrom and Jack Harrison, Everton are short on that side.
The Friedkin Group will want a marquee signing to signpost their first full summer transfer window in charge at Everton, and Sancho is certainly a big name, and there is another connection here.
Roma have been interested in Sancho recently, via TeamTalk, so there is that link with The Friedkin Group already somewhat established.
Whether or not a deal is done remains to be seen, but don’t be shocked if it comes out in the wash that Everton were one of the Premier League sides asking about Sancho.
