Journalist Alan Myers has provided his thoughts on whether Everton will sign Manchester City’s star Jack Grealish in the summer transfer window.
The Toffees have been released from their PSR shackles and are now ready to make a number of quality additions to their squad this summer.
Reports have stated that Everton are extremely interested in Jack Grealish, whose Manchester City career appears to be over.
On Wednesday, it was revealed that Grealish was left out of Man City’s Club World Cup squad, a clear indication that Pep Guardiola has done all he believes he can with him and is now ready to let him leave the club.
With Everton one of several clubs heavily linked with a move for Grealish, journalist Alan Myers has responded to whether he thinks the Englishman will be a Toffee next season.

Alan Myers doubts Everton will sign Jack Grealish this summer
At 29, Grealish still has a lot to give in his career. It is clear he needs a new sense of direction and Everton think they can offer him that.
However, Myers does not believe Grealish will be an Everton player next season, which will surely be a disappointing thing to hear for many fans.
When asked if he expects Grealish to play for Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium next season, Myers said: “It’s an interesting question, I doubt it tbh but you never say never in football.”

With his future at Man City looking doubtful, Grealish lashed out at fans on social media who were berating him for his performances in the 2024/25 campaign.
Moyes is looking to improve their attacking options, and with Grealish being versatile he is clearly a good option in the transfer market.

With The Friedkin Group ready to back Everton this summer, Moyes may look to sign more than just Grealish from Man City for the Toffees.
As well as the 29-year-old, Everton are interested in James McAtee, who will reportedly cost around £35m this summer. The 22-year-old was also left out of Man City’s Club World Cup squad this month.
Additionally, reports have now stated that Everton are interested in signing Kalvin Phillips to put his disastrous time at the Etihad Stadium to an end.
The midfielder made a £60m move to Man City in 2022 but failed to make any sort of impression. Phillips spent the last 18 months on loan at West Ham and Ipswich Town.
Phillips is believed to be open to leaving Man City this summer in pursuit of more game time in the Premier League.
