Everton are running out of time to secure any final players down to new contracts ahead of their current deals expiring.
David Moyes is in need of a host of new signings this summer with numerous players departing as free agents.
With a big summer ahead of the club, Everton are looking to sign a new striker to really bolster their attacking options.
This comes following the decision made by Dominic Calvert-Lewin in recent days.
It has now become apparent that Calvert-Lewin will leave Everton as a free agent at the end of the month as he eyes a new challenge.
The striker has struggled on Merseyside for a number of years now due to his frequent injury problems.
But he may already be regretting his decision having already heard back from one of the clubs who were showing interest in him.

Newcastle United make Dominic Calvert-Lewin decision after Everton snub
Calvert-Lewin has received interest already from a host of other clubs with some English sides throwing their hats in the ring.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Newcastle United have been credited with an interest in the former England international, but their final decision has just been shared.
According to The Chronicle, Newcastle will not look to sign Calvert-Lewin this summer despite him being set to become available on a free.
This will come as a real frustration for the 28-year-old striker who is eyeing a move to a club playing European football.
Calvert-Lewin’s agent did demand new contract talks last month, but that has not amounted to any new deal for the striker.
He will now need to hope a club is willing to take a risk on him with the Everton forward truly believing he is capable of playing at the top level.
With his exit now set, Calvert-Lewin has apologised to Everton fans but there is still a lot for the striker to prove wherever he ends up next.
Speaking on a recent podcast appearance, the striker admitted he is looking to join a club who can offer him elite European football.
With Newcastle pulling out of the race this may have landed an early blow in his hopes of playing at a higher level.
Moyes wanted to keep Calvert-Lewin, but it was clear that he would have to agree new terms that suited Everton.
As Newcastle move on to other targets, there could well be some regret developing for Calvert-Lewin who has seen one European club passing on his services.
