Cousins was also fined $4,250 for a combination of a disqualifying foul, a technical foul, and actions deemed to incite violence or provoke others.

According to BSN officials, that fine could increase to $10,000 if he fails to "show cause" why it shouldn't be raised.

The incident occurred during a heated game between Cousins' team, the Guaynabo Mets, and Vaqueros de Bayamon on Monday night.

Cousins lost his temper during the game, and videos of the confrontations quickly went viral on social media.

The situation began with an altercation involving a courtside fan. After being ejected from the game, Cousins was heading to the locker room when fans threw beers at him.

He then tried to go after those fans, escalating the chaos.

Cousins, best known for his time with the Sacramento Kings, has extended his basketball career internationally and in alternative leagues. In recent years, he has played in Taiwan, Mongolia, Puerto Rico, and the Big3 League.

His last NBA stint came with the Denver Nuggets during the 2021–22 season.
