Ousmane Dembélé (28) has enjoyed an excellent campaign and an excellent 2025 in particular. Since the turn of the year, he has netted 25 goals in all competitions. In an interview with France Football, the Paris Saint-Germain winger named his best game of the campaign.

On a collective level, it has been an almost perfect campaign for PSG, who won all the trophies on offer (Ligue 1, Coupe de France, UEFA Champions League, Trophée des Champions). As the club’s president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, often proclaims, the “star” is the collective, however, there have been standout individual performances, too, notably from Dembélé.

The former Barcelona winger is one of the favourites to win this year’s Ballon d’Or thanks to his contribution to PSG’s Champions League trophy. He has named one of the games in that run to Munich as the best of his 2024/25 campaign.

“[My best game] was against Arsenal, in the first match (at the Emirates Stadium). I felt good. I think I played well, and if I hadn’t gone off injured, I think I would have had the chance to score again,” he said.

Dembélé netted the one and only goal of that game in the Champions League semi-final in the fourth minute. He was then substituted with a minor muscular injury on the 70-minute mark.
