Diomande is only 21 years old but a regular starter for club and country. He joined Sporting in January 2023. Since then, he has played 101 games for them. He has so far played 9 games for Ivory Coast and has been very good for them. Moving to Premier League will be a major step up in his career.
Chelsea also have many other targets in the transfer market. Earlier, they wanted to sign Dean Huijsen but have lost the race for him. They now have Marc Guehi as top target.
