Bayer Leverkusen add Loïc Badé to centre-back shortlist alongside Jarell Quansah

According to a report from Fabrizio Romano, Bayer Leverkusen are targeting Sevilla centre-back Loïc Badé (25), and have added the Frenchman to their short-list of centre back targets along with Liverpool defender Jarrell Quansah (22).

Badé is reportedly appreciated internally by the Leverkusen hierarchy, who are looking to replace Jonathan Tah after the German joined Bayern Munich earlier in the window. Badé was previously chased by Premier League side Aston Villa in the January transfer window, with Sevilla turning down a €25m bid from the English side earlier this year.

The Frenchman started for Didier Deschamps’ side against Germany last weekend, as Les Bleus clinched third place in the UEFA Nations League following a 2-0 win. This comes a year after the Sevilla defender featured for Thierry Henry’s France Olympic side during Paris 2024, reaching the final against Spain.
