Arne Slot did a stellar job by winning the Premier League title with Liverpool at the first time of asking.
The Anfield outfit were one of the most dominant teams in England throughout the 2024-25 campaign, with a lot of their players earning a spot in the Premier League’s team of the season.
However, as with every transfer window, Liverpool will be looking at ways to bolster their ranks with Jeremie Frimpong’s Anfield move already confirmed.
A fair few players are also likely to be sold as the window goes on, with Caoimhin Kelleher the first to leave.

At the moment, Liverpool have their hands in a few pots regarding transfers, but there’s one in particular which seems to have caught Gabriel Agbonlahor’s interest.
Gabriel Agbonlahor believes Milos Kerkez could be the best left-back in the Premier League
Andy Robertson and Kostas Tsimikas have both had their Liverpool futures questioned, with the latter of the two getting linked with a move to either Atletico Madrid or Juventus.
Neither of the left-backs performed to the standards they’ve set themselves over the last few years in the 2024-25 campaign, which is why it isn’t a surprise to see Bournemouth’s Milos Kerkez linked with a Liverpool move.
And, while speaking live on talkSPORT, Agbonlahor gave his verdict on the Hungary international.

“Kerkez, Kerkez is the one I really like as well, watching Bournemouth last season, he was probably the best left-back in the Premier League, wasn’t he,” Agbonlahor said.
Milos Kerkez is a perfect fit for Arne Slot at Liverpool
Kerkez’s eventual transfer to Liverpool will be one of the worst-kept secrets in football by the time a deal is pulled off.
The Bournemouth ace had a breakout season and proved that he has the potential to be the full package if given the chance.
Not only can Kerkez defend one-on-one situations well, but he also has a keen eye for goal and can pick out a pass from one side of the pitch to the other.
This sort of skillset is ideal for the Liverpool managers’ set-up as, even though the full-backs are expected to fulfil their defensive duties, they also have the choice to bomb forward if the opportunity arises.

The pace of the Hungary international is also something that Liverpool missed this season, with Robertson’s top speed seeming to decrease quite drastically.
Indeed, a deal isn’t done just yet, but at the moment, it feels like the Reds have found their perfect match.
