Sesko was superb for Leipzig last season, he scored 21 goals for the German club, and also provided six assists, singling himself out to be one of the best goal scorers in Europe. Plus, aged just 22, Sesko has plenty of potential to grow, making him an exciting prospect for the Gunners.
Whether or not Arsenal are able to get a deal across the line for Sesko, he is expected to cost around £70m this summer, depending on negotiations. But how will he get on? We asked Chat GPT to predict his career if Sesko comes to Arsenal.
2025/26 – 21 goals in all competitions (‘Integration year’)
AI suggested that Sesko’s first season at Arsenal would be similar numbers-wise to his last year at RB Leipzig, netting 21 goals in all competitions.
This included 12 goals in the Premier League, which is a decent return, and would have made him Arsenal’s top scorer, based on last season’s stats. AI said: “Adjusting to the EPL’s pace and physicality, rotation with other forwards; promising early contributions.”
2026/27 – 28 goals in all competitions (‘Breakthrough season’)
It described Sesko’s second season at Arsenal as a real breakthrough, where he nets 28 goals in all competitions, including 18 goals in the Premier League.
That sort of production would be crucial to the Gunners’ title charge, and could help them to a first league title since 2003/04. AI said: “Building chemistry with midfield, sharper finishing, more starts than off the bench.”
2027/28 – 35 goals in all competitions (‘Establishment as first team striker’)
For what was a step up in his second year, Sesko’s third year is projected to go sky high, breaking the 30-goal mark for the Gunners in a season.
It predicted that he would score 22 Premier League goals, which was the same number that Erling Haaland scored for Man City last season.
AI described Sesko as a “consistent top-tier striker, expected to fire Arsenal in key matches and European nights.”
2028/29 – 39 goals in all competitions (‘Peak years begin’)
Now getting closer to the 40 goal mark, Sesko takes yet another step up in his Arsenal career, surely helping the Gunners to at least one trophy based on his numbers.
It predicted that he would score 24 Premier League goals, and nine in the Champions League, making him surely one of the best strikers in the world…aged 25.
AI said: “A true elite marksman; competing for the Golden Boot, pivotal in both domestic and European games.”
2029/30 – 43 goals in all competitions (‘Prime peak performance’)
At the age of 26, the traditional peak, Sesko’s numbers continued to rocket, breaking the 40-goal per season mark for the Gunners.
It predicted that he would score 26 goals in the Premier League in his fifth season for Arsenal, which would have made him the second-top scorer this season, behind just Liverpool’s Mo Salah. AI said: “Mastering top-flight football fully mature, at peak physical and technical levels.”
