As the offseason approaches and teams begin shaping their rosters, the Lakers are expected to be one of the most closely watched franchises—especially with multiple names emerging as potential targets.
According to NBA insider Khobi Price of Bleacher Report, several players have surfaced as possible additions to strengthen the Lakers’ frontcourt, including Boston Celtics center Luke Kornet and Atlanta Hawks big man Larry Nance Jr.
In the backcourt, under-the-radar options like Tre Jones and Dante Exum are also seen as realistic candidates to fill backup guard roles.

Additionally, Los Angeles Clippers forward Amir Coffey has been mentioned by Price as a potential signing for the Lakers now that his contract with the Clippers has expired.
The Lakers have the majority of their roster under contract through the 2025–26 season, with only a few notable players set to hit free agency—namely Jaxson Hayes, Dorian Finney-Smith, and LeBron James.
Hayes is expected to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, while both LeBron and Finney-Smith hold player options for next season. However, both are widely expected to exercise those options and remain with the Lakers for the 2025–26 campaign.
