The Los Angeles Rams have signed defensive tackle Decarius Hawthorne to a one-year contract, the NFL team announced on Tuesday.
Hawthorne comes aboard as an undrafted rookie from South Florida. Before playing for the Bulls in 2024, Hawthorne played four seasons at Florida Atlantic.
Hawthorne went to FAU from Center Point High School. With the Eagles in 2019, Hawthorne was a second-team All-State selection as an offensive lineman.
Hawthorne participated in the Buffalo Bills’ rookie minicamp last month on a tryout basis, but he was not signed.
Hawthorne is the second undrafted rookie from an Alabama high school signed by the Rams this offseason. Los Angeles also signed Southern Cal outside linebacker Jamil Muhammad from James Clemens High School in Madison.
