A new striker is on the agenda for Wolves this summer.
Vitor Pereira had two regular goalscorers last term in the form of Jorgen Strand Larsen and Matheus Cunha, but the Brazilian has now departed.
Cunha joined Manchester United, and fans are concerned the club will struggle to replace his output and potential to provide moments of magic.
Undoubtedly, Wolves need another striker option for next season.
Sasa Kalajdzic is expected to head out on loan in order to build his match sharpness again after his serious knee injury.
And Fabio Silva is still likely to leave Wolves permanently.
Now, it’s been suggested Wolves have eyes on a player who impressed over in Switzerland last season.

According to Foot Mercato, Wolves are one of many clubs showing an interest in Willem Geubbels of Swiss club St. Gallen.
MORE WOLVES STORIES
Geubbels has been with the club since 2023, joining them from AS Monaco after starting out at Lyon.
Geubbels is attracting attention right now after finishing 2024/25 season with a haul of 14 league goals – the same tally as what Strand Larsen finished with at Wolves. But Geubbels did score three more in cup competitions.
From Germany, Union Berlin and FC Cologne are both interested, and there are a number of clubs keen from the Premier League as well, including Wolves, Southampton, Sheffield United, Leeds United.
Dutch club FC Twente are also mentioned, and there is further interest from clubs in Italy and Spain.
It is stated that St. Gallen feel Geubbels will be ‘almost impossible to keep’ this summer, and that an offer or around £8.5 million would lead them to sell.
That is perhaps encouraging for Wolves, but the level of interest suggests any pursuit may not be easy.
Geubbels may only be 23, but he’s actually been on the scene for quite a while. Because he made his senior debut for Lyon 16 years, one month and seven days old. That made him the first player born in the 21st century to play in Ligue 1.

He was also the first player born in the 21st century to play in the Europa League.
Such was his promise, Monaco parted with around £17 million to sign Geubbels in 2018 when he was still just 16 years old (L’Equipe).
Willem Geubbels style of play
Geubbels has played mostly as a central striker throughout his career so far, but has operated out on the left on occasion.
According to Football Talent Scout, the former French youth international is a ‘versatile wing forward with impressive shooting skills, great change of pace/explosive acceleration and 1vs1 offensive ability’.
He is also said to be ‘extremely dangerous on the counter thanks to his pace and acceleration’ and ‘good in the air’.
Given these claims, and the physical build of the player, it may well be that Wolves see Geubbels as a potential replacement for Cunha, who could play through the middle or from the left.
Wolves are looking to sign two number 10s this summer, and Geubbels potentially might be a good fit for that left 10 role.
