Chelsea supporters have voted Pedro Neto’s dramatic winner against Fulham as our Men’s Goal of the Season for 2024/25.
Fans around the globe have had the opportunity to vote for their favourite Blues strike from the season just gone, selecting our standout men’s goal via the poll on the Chelsea Official App and website.
Twelve strikes from our men’s senior and Academy sides were shortlisted and it was Neto’s stunner against Fulham which came out on top to take the crown.
The Portugal international’s strike came in the dying embers of our March victory at Craven Cottage, securing us all three points after we had drawn level through Tyrique George.
Neto received the ball from Enzo Fernandez in the centre of the area, taking a perfect touch before swivelling and lashing a left-footed drive into the roof of the net – sparking wild scenes in the away end behind the goal.
The winger joins the likes of Michael Essien, Ashley Cole, Eden Hazard and last year’s winner – Moises Caicedo - in claiming the club's Goal of the Season award.
It was a tightly-run race but ultimately, Pedro was the winner in the minds of Chelsea supporters and earned 27 per cent of the voting. That was just ahead of Cole Palmer’s free-kick vs Brighton, which claimed 24 per cent of the vote.
Palmer also clinched third place in the voting, for his expert lob in our big win over Wolves at Molineux with 15 per cent.
Congratulations, Pedro!
