Barcelona continue to be linked with a move for Ivan Perisic, with the Croatia international front page news in Mundo Deportivo on Wednesday.
The report also details plenty of reasons why manager Hansi Flick is seriously thinking about signing the veteran this summer.
Perisic is obviously available on a free transfer, which makes him an attractive option, with Flick also knowing him well from their time together at Bayern.

The Barca boss also like his experience, which he thinks would be useful in a youthful squad, and his versatility.
Perisic can play anywhere across the front three and has also featured as a wing-back in his career. His arrival would also increase the competition for places in the attack which could help the team as a whole.
The Croatian is also described as a “born competitor” as well as a tremendous professional who takes great care of himself.

The stats suggest as much, too. He’s won 144 caps and is still a key player for Croatia at the grand old age of 36. He also helped PSV win the title last season, scoring nine goals and bagging eight assists in the Eredivisie.
Perisic ia also keen to come and wants to be playing at the highest level ahead of World Cup 2026. His motivation, therefore, is certainly not lacking even though he’s in the twilight of his career.
Like Joan Garcia, Perisic is also seen as a good market opportunity - as he’s free - and it’s thought his signing wouldn’t necessarily prevent Barca from also going for Luis Diaz as well.
