Newcastle United and PSG reportedly kept tabs on ChristopherNkunku’s situation at Chelsea, where the French forward struggled to establish himself.
Nkunku arrived at Chelsea from RB Leipzig in 2023 for £52 million, but injuries and stiff competition for playing time limited his impact. His long-term future at the club remained uncertain.
Earlier in the year, journalist Ben Jacobs reported that PSG had looked into a deal before ultimately backing away. Bayern Munich also passed on a January move, thoughSportBild’s Christian Falk suggested they might renew their interest later this year.
Amid all the speculation, a new club had reportedly entered the race, eyeing Nkunku as a potential addition in hopes of giving him a fresh start after adifficult spell with the Blues.

On Wednesday,TEAMtalk reported that Bayern Munich have renewedtheir strong interest in Christopher Nkunku, with the German club eager to strike a deal for the versatile attacker.
Chelsea are said to be asking for around £50 million, but Bayern reportedlybelieve they can bring that price down. Nkunku is also understood to be open to a fresh start, and with his successful history in the Bundesliga, Bayernare seen as a leading contender toland him.
TEAMtalk previously reported that Chelsea are open to selling Nkunku but have set a £59 million price tag. That figure is currently too steep for Juventus, who are hoping to negotiate a lower fee if discussions move forward.
Their pursuit could depend heavily on Champions League qualification, which would strengthen their financial position and make the move more attractive to Nkunku.
According to the same outlet, Juventusaren’t alone in showing interest. Bayern Munich and Newcastle United have also looked into a possible summer move for the 27-year-old.
