**Man United have a whole host of players who do not have a future at the club. Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford, Antony and Jadon Sancho are all expected to leave if teams match their respective asking prices.**
Reports have surfaced this week that the Red Devils are currently holding out for £70m to sell Garnacho, while the prices of the other three have also been revealed.
Following Rashford’s return from Aston Villa, it is believed that the winger’s valuation remains at £40m, which was the fee set in his purchase clause with the Villans.
Antony’s performances for Real Betis have led to the Brazilian’s price increasing to £40m, while [**Sancho**](https://manunews.com/blog/man-united-transfer-news-jadon-sancho-jamie-gittens/) could be let go for around £20m, following Chelsea’s decision to send him back to Old Trafford.
It means that the four players could fetch around £170m IF United can find buyers willing to meet their demands.
Man United have been historically bad sellers
---------------------------------------------
Director of Football Jason Wilcox and CEO Omar Berrada will be very much aware of the club’s poor reputation in the transfer market for buying high and selling low. Those issues have led to the current situation where one of the world’s biggest clubs is unable to spend sizeable amounts to rebuild the squad due to PSR.
For that reason, you can understand why the Red Devils are reluctant to lower their price tags for any of their players. Such a strategy does, though, put the team in a very vulnerable position.
The danger of missing out on key transfer targets
-------------------------------------------------
Wilcox would have headed into the summer with a list of options to strengthen each position. Man United have already brought in Matheus Cunha, which shows they are being proactive to some degree.
However, it has been said time and time again that they will need to sell players in order to fund the sort of rebuild that head coach Ruben Amorim requires. This squad is not suited in any way to playing a 3-4-3 system.
Targets who could fit the criteria may soon slip through the net if buyers for the likes of Garnacho, Rashford, Antony and Sancho can’t be found. It is still too early in the summer to make rash decisions but the longer the four are at the club, the harder it will be for Amorim to get the team he wants.
