Giannis Antetokounmpo has basically declared that he wants to stay with the Milwaukee Bucks in the past few days, ending speculations about his offseason plans.

Many so-called NBA insiders claimed that he could be on his way out of the team. Shams Charania, who broke down probably the most shocking trade news in NBA history last February, was among the prominent reporters who suggested it.
He said the Greek Freak is more open-minded about the idea of playing elsewhere after another failed season with the Bucks. He also said that Antetokounmpo had an urgent meeting with the team but no meeting happened a month after he made his report.

Many Bucks fans thought Sham’s report has no basis the minute it came out. They said he has no legitimate source and that the meeting was just a standard one and that it is being sensationalized.
Charania continues to float Giannis Antetokounmpo trade
Charania is being hard-headed suggesting that Giannis said in Brazil about desire go to back to the NBA finals with the Bucks does not mean he is indeed going back. That teams are skeptical about it.
“His status will not be tied to the NBA Draft, it won’t be tied to free agency,” Charania said in the Pat McAfee show.
“It’s much more likely that his future plays out into July and into August. There’s a difference between being open-minded and, from what I’m told, exploring other options.”
Charania also said that Antetokounmpo will wait until those months to make a decision even if he already said he wants back.

“Around the league, there is a level of skepticism,” the reporter continued.
“There’s a difference between being open-minded and from what I am told, exploring other options, actively exploring other options. There’s a difference between doing that and asking for a trade. He’s in the process of figuring out what he wants to do.”
Antetokounmpo is on social media throughout these reports. It is not known who he is shading but the timing of his post is intriguing.
Does anyone else miss Woj?!
