Following their NBA Championship in 2021, the Milwaukee Bucks played the majority of the the 2021-22 season without starting center Brook Lopez. He had to have back surgery during that offseason and did not return to the court until late in the year. And while Bobby Portis filled in admirably as the starting center, Milwaukee spent the season rotating players on and off the roster to provide front court depth.
One of the players that they brought in for a short stint with the team was four-time NBA All-Star DeMarcus Cousins. In 17 games with Milwaukee, the former fifth overall NBA Draft pick averaged 9.1 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.1 assists per game.
After his second ten-day contract with the Bucks expired, he signed a similar deal with the Denver Nuggets and appeared in 31 games for them, averaging 8.9 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game.
It was the last time he appeared in the NBA.

Cousins has been playing in the Puerto Rican Professional Basketball League this season. However, his season has come to an abrupt end.
During a game on Monday, the former Bucks center got into an altercation with some fans, that resulted in him getting doused with beer and physically fighting with some of them.
Cousins was ejected from the game and continued to fight with fans as he exited through the tunnel.
Upon review of the altercation, however, league officials noticed that the four-time NBA All-Star, who was infamously hated by former Bucks head coach George Karl during their days together with the Sacramento Kings, stuck his hand down his shorts, rubbed his private parts, and then stuck his hand in a fan’s face.
He has been suspended for the rest of the league’s season, per a report by Complex.
