It was a successful season for the Golden State Warriors as they were able to turn things around after their early struggles and advance to the second round of the playoffs.
Of course, the addition of Jimmy Butler at the trade deadline to pair alongside Stephen Curry and Draymond Green was a major factor in Golden State’s turnaround as he made them into a contender.
Now the Warriors enter the offseason looking to build around their veteran trio to chase a championship next season.
While Butler and Curry shared most of the spotlight for the Warriors heading into next season, Golden State has also done a great job developing some of their young talent including both Moses Moody and Brandin Podziemski.

For Podziemski, he put together a career-best season in his second year in the NBA as he fit well next to Curry in the backcourt and he has proved that he is going to be one of the franchise’s key young players for their future.
On Wednesday, the Warriors made a major announcement regarding Podziemski.
Golden State announced that Podziemski underwent successful surgery on Tuesday to repair a core muscle injury and that he is expected to be ready for the start of training camp.
This was a surprising announcement by the Warriors, especially after the 22-year-old guard had already underwent successful left wrist debridement surgery on May 27.
The good news for Golden State is that Podziemski is expected to be ready for training camp, which will be crucial for him as he will likely be their starting shooting guard next season.

Of course, the 22-year-old is coming off a great season that saw him average 11.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.1 steals per game while shooting 44.5% from the field and 37.2% from three.
Golden State now hopes that he will come back even better next season as he should be a key piece to their chase for another championship.
