Barcelona have officially confirmed that talented young left-back Pau Berges has signed a new contract with the club.
The 16-year-old, who has been part of La Masia since childhood, will now take a step forward in his development, aiming to make the leap within the youth categories.
The renewal was formalised on Wednesday at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, where Berges signed his contract in the presence of Jose Ramon Alexanco, the director of the youth academy.
The deal marks a clear commitment from Barcelona to nurture and retain the brightest young talents within their ranks.

In recent weeks, the club has also renewed the contracts of Baba Kourouma, Iu Martinez, Roberto Tomas, Michal Zuk, and Gerard Valls, all of whom are seen as key figures in the upcoming generation.
Berges, in particular, is a player with huge potential. A reliable left-back with strong technical and tactical awareness, he began this season as a regular for the U16 A team but has already featured for the U19 B side, highlighting his rapid progression.
Now entering his 10th year with the club, he is expected to take on a more prominent role and continue working toward a place in Barça Atletic or even the first team.
