Liverpool have been at the centre of attention for most of the transfer window, with changes expected to happen at Anfield throughout the summer.
Plenty of changes have already been made at the club, with many more expected to come before the 2025-26 season kicks off.
Liverpool will no doubt want to get further in the Champions League next season than they did this term to establish themselves as one of the best teams in Europe.
Indeed, the Premier League will also be high on their priority list, which is why transfers for players such as Florian Wirtz are being sanctioned.

That is, even though a deal will smash the Reds’ club record fee.
Liverpool believe some of the add-ons in the Florian Wirtz deal are unattainable
Liverpool have recently had a bid worth around £113million rejected for Wirtz, which would have easily eclipsed their current record signing.
However, while speaking on the Football Terrace Podcast, journalist Ben Jacobs gave an insight into why Liverpool look set to pay so much for the midfielder.
“My information is that Liverpool have not met Leverkusen’s total package of €150million, the total amount will be a little bit lower than that and probably not that different from the last bid made, which was £100million guaranteed and £13million in add-ons,” he said.

“I would’ve thought somewhere between £113million and maybe pushing £120million will be the final valuation, but you also might find some of those numbers misleading.
“[That’s] because I’m told some of the add-ons might not be reachable and therefore Liverpool may feel that even if the number may seem large, Leverkusen may actually struggle to get the full amount over time.”
Florian Wirtz is a perfect fit for Liverpool
As Wirtz is just 22 years old, it means that there’s still plenty of room for him to grow and to become even better.
The attacking midfielder is already seen as one of the best in the world and can turn a game on its head in more ways than one.
Arne Slot’s team is full of young talent that will only get better as the seasons go on, which, after the dominance they showed last term, is quite scary to think about.
Seeing as though Liverpool are also on the hunt for a striker, it feels like for any up-and-coming talent, there isn’t a better place to be than Anfield next term.

Mohamed Salah will be on the right wing, and once the deal for Wirtz is over the line, becoming the focal point of that attack would be any number nine’s dream.
At the moment, it’s anyone’s guess what Slot’s team could look like on the opening day of the season, but with the number of rumours being shared and reported, there’s no way Liverpool will only be adding Wirtz to their ranks.
