Man Utd release new 2025/26 home kit with surprise tribute on back of shirt

Manchester United have released their new home shirt for the 2025/26 season, and it includes a surprise tribute.

After a dismal 2024/25 campaign, United and Ruben Amorim are looking ahead to the start of the new season, with this year's kit launch a low-key event.

Staying with Adidas and Snapdragon sponsorship, the Red Devils' latest home kit is a smart design that has been praised by fans.

A pattern of lighter coloured red dots covers the shirt, with black trim, and the iconic Adidas three stripes are also black. The kit has a V-neck collar with a white and black design.

While on the back of the collar, 'Theatre of Dreams' is written in white lettering in a nod to Sir Bobby Charlton's nickname he gave to Old Trafford, amid Sir Jim Ratcliffe's plan to demolish the stadium and build a new home for United.

United launched the kit on Thursday morning, with a huge version of the shirt hung from the Sir Alex Ferguson stand. The video saw a drone flying around the inside of the stadium as lights flashed from the top of the stands.
