Man Utd fans can order only one of Rashford, Sancho and Antony jerseys on new kit, trio set to return from loan

Manchester United’s new kit for the 2025/26 season has been released and that means speculation over transfers based on kit customisation, and this year’s bait has been thrown by the club.

The club will see three high-profile loanees return to Old Trafford – Marcus Rashford from Aston Villa, Jadon Sancho from Chelsea, and Antony from Real Betis.

Ideally, United won’t like to have any of the three back in the squad, as evidenced by Sancho and Rashford, especially, having buy clauses in their loan deal.

However, it is notable that out of the three, one player’s kit can be ordered for the next season, while the other two can’t be.

Man Utd kit for 2025/26 hinting at future of Marcus Rashford, Antony, and Jadon Sancho?

Antony impressed immensely at Real Betis and talks remain ongoing for a permanent move, while Sancho’s return was the most unexpected since Chelsea paid £5 million to do so.

Marcus Rashford, on the other hand, had a good spell at Villa but £40m for a player on his wages was always going to be a tall task for them to match.

The chances of reintroduction at Man Utd for all three are slim to none, but the club seems to have kept the door open for their youth academy star.

It is notable that when ordering United’s jersey for next season at the time of writing, fans can choose to have “Rashford 10” at the back of their kit.

However, Antony and Sancho are not available on the list of men’s first-team players, despite the duo returning to Carrington alongside Rashford when their loan contract expires.

It would be a leap to say that this means Rashford has a chance of playing for United again, while the other two don’t, but the club knows what they are doing with stuff like this and how intensely it will be scrutinised.

Interestingly, Cunha demanded No. 10 from Man Utd so the club taking orders for “Rashford 10” this close to the Brazilian coming officially is quite a choice.

In the same vein, the kit customisation list is good news for a youngster.

Chido Obi makes senior team status official

Alongside the presence of Rashford, and the absence of Sancho and Antony, another notable thing about the list of men’s first-team players was the presence of Chido Obi on it.

Obi signed as a youth player last summer, as evidenced by his exclusion from the Europa League squad too.

However, by the end of the season, he had effectively skipped the U21s entirely, playing for the senior team for scattered minutes and impressing.

He ended the season by scoring a brace in United’s last game of the post-season tour, and it would be a surprise if he isn’t kept around the first-team picture next season.

His name on the list of players available for adding to the kit is evidence of his newfound status as a Man Utd first-team star.

It’s well-deserved after a season where he had the weight of the world on his shoulders and he still managed to live up to it.
