The Arsenal guide to Euro U19 Championship

The UEFA European Under-19 Championship 2025 is upon us and with a host of future stars getting ready to showcase their skills, here's everything you need to know from an Arsenal point of view.

Two players have been called up to represent their nations at this year’s tournament, with Tommy Setford selected for England and Lucas Nygaard turning out for Denmark.

The pair won't face off in the group stage with Denmark in Group A and England in Group B. With the Danes kicking off the tournament against holders Spain, let's take a look at the competition, which runs from Friday, June 13 to Thursday, June 26.

GROUP-BY-GROUP GUIDE

Group A - Denmark (Lucas Nygaard)

- Made their debut at the competition in 2024, exiting at the group stage.

- Teams must finish in the top two of their group to make it out of the group stage

- Qualified ahead of Austria, Iceland and Hungary to reach the finals

- Nygaard made two appearances for Denmark U19 ahead of the tournament

- Won the competition on 11 occasions, most recently in 2022

- Returning to the finals for the first time since winning it three years ago

- Dane Scarlett all-time top scorer with 12 goals

- Ethan Nwaneri has six goals in nine appearances for England U19
