Manchester United have unveiled their new 2025-26 home kit, with a tribute to Old Trafford
Manchester United fans have hailed their new 2025-26 home kit as "a classic already" and hope it will see the team's fortunes reversed after a difficult campaign in 2024-25.
The Red Devils could only finish 15th in the Premier League after a turbulent season under both Erik ten Hag and successor Ruben Amorim, losing a total of 18 matches.
United also suffered heartache in the Europa League final as they were beaten 1-0 by Tottenham, meaning they missed out on Champions League football next season - but the team will be hopeful they can turn over a new leaf under Amorim in their new strip.
The Adidas shirt is influenced by their iconic Old Trafford stadium, with an "abstract sleeve graphic" symbolising elements of the pitch, stands and tunnel.
There is a V-neck collar laced with black edges and a white stripe going through the middle - and the same detail is seen on the edges of the sleeves.
The kit also has black stripes running down the shoulders and the words "Theatre of Dreams" on the back of the shirt.
Fans have been left impressed by the design, as one said: "A bold, clean and burning red [kit] that screams power, pride and a new era! Eager to see the away kit." Another said: "Forever red. This one's a classic already," while a third added: "I really like this, simple but with just enough flair."
Another wrote: "Excited to see the new home kit honouring Old Trafford. Looking forward to the new season with adidas."

Adidas chief Juergen Rank said they wanted to design a shirt that paid tribute to the club's DNA, playing on their iconic red colours.
"The colour red is fundamental to the club’s DNA. There have been many different expressions of it over the years and for this season we wanted to do something a little different, using the sleeves as a canvas.
"The abstract graphic stays true to the club’s DNA while providing an innovative look at feel to an otherwise classy and classic jersey."
The shirt is available to buy on Manchester United's official website and will cost £85. For the 'authentic' version of the jersey, the price is £120.
