Eagles' newest rockstar addition to front office could be next Howie Roseman

Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman has seen many changes to his front office during the offseason and needed to bring in some strong football minds to the team. Roseman might have found a potential rockstar.

Sources told CBS Sports and 247Sports reporter Matt Zenitz that the Eagles are expected to hire LSU director of player personnel Preston Tiffany. Zenitz had characterized Tiffany as "one of the rising stars in the college personnel world."

Who is Eagles' newest "rising star"?

Tiffany graduated from South Carolina in 2020 with his bachelor's degree and was already working within the football program during that time. He earned his MBA at Ole Miss, where he served in several positions with the Rebels from 2020 to 2024.

Last year, he was the director of player personnel for the LSU Tigers. Tiffany has been helping with "aquiring talent" as the director of player personnel, a role he had with Ole Miss and LSU.

Here's his full resume:

(2018-2020) - South Carolina undergraduate recruiting and player personnel assistant

(2020-2021) - Ole Miss graduate recruiting and player personnel assistant

(2021-2022) - Ole Miss recruiting and personnel assistant

(2022-2023) - Ole Miss coordinator of personnel

(2023-2024) - Ole Miss director of player personnel

(2024-2025) - LSU director of player personnel

This was a move that was much needed, as the Eagles went through a mass exodus in the front office during the offseason. Eagles national scout Jordon Dizon left for the Denver Broncos, Brandon Hunt and Anthony Patch left to join the Las Vegas Raiders, and the team's vice president of football administration Jake Rosenberg went to the University of Oklahoma.

They did get some help back former New York Jets general manager Joe Douglas return to Philadelphia in a senior scouting role. More moves are likely to be announced in the upcoming month before the season, but Douglas was a significant hire.

The Eagles could have something special for Tiffany, and one thing the fan base knows is how good Roseman is at building the roster and front office. This could end up being a home run to build the future of the franchise.
