ROCK HILL, S.C.—The first full day of the 2025 NBPA Top 100 saw Darian DeVries and the Indiana coaching staff in full force in South Carolina. DeVries and the Hoosiers were able to see many of their top prospects, including Sammy Jackson, Anthony Thompson, Latrell Allmond, Taylen Kinney, Arafan Diane, and Collins Onyejiaka, among others. Thursday will provide a similar opportunity.

Day one saw Kinney dominate the competition. The Kentucky native had his outside shot working in the two games, resulting in impressive production. With his size and athleticism, defenses have no chance to stop him when Kinney is hitting outside shots. That was the case on Wednesday. He has been travelling overseas for basketball events lately, but Kinney showed no ill effects of that jet lag on Wednesday.

Kinney averaged 24.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists on the day, making 7 of 13 three-point shots.

Latrell Allmond was also quite productive. The 6-foot-8 forward showcased his well-rounded skill set and athleticism against many of the nation's top prospects. His growth as a player, particularly in expanding his perimeter skill set over the last 18 months, is impressive and an outstanding sign for his future.

Allmond reiterated his longstanding and close relationship with Indiana assistant coach Kenny Johnson, who watched both of Allmond's games on Wednesday. Allmond has an official visit planned for next week with the Hoosiers.

One Thursday morning game features a boatload of Indiana prospects—Kinney, Anthony Thompson, Davion Adkins, Ryan Hampton, Bryson Howard, and Quinn Costello. Indiana will likely have a strong presence at that court.
