Manchester United have officially completed the signing of Brazilian forward Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers, as they announced on their official website.
The 26-year-old joins the Reds on a long-term contract running until June 2030, with an option for an additional year.
The deal is worth £62.5 million, with United triggering the release clause in Cunha’s contract after holding talks with Wolves.
The fee will be paid over two years after initial attempts to negotiate a longer payment structure were unsuccessful.
Matheus Cunha impressed during his spell at Molineux, scoring 17 goals and providing six assists in all competitions last season.

He becomes the first signing of the summer under Amorim’s tenure and is expected to feature heavily in pre-season preparations.
The Brazilian, who has experience in Germany with RB Leipzig and in Spain with Atletico Madrid, is seen as an ideal addition to United’s attacking options.
Internationally, he has been capped 15 times by Brazil and opened his goal account against Argentina earlier this year.
United’s recruitment team identified Cunha early in the window as a player with the right profile to fit the manager’s high-intensity attacking system.
Cunha signed his contract and completed his medical at the start of the month as CentreDevils exclusively revealed.
