The Los Angeles Lakers recently concluded another season, led by LeBron James.
James has been the driving force of the Lakers for the past several years. This past season, he received a helping hand from the front office when Los Angeles traded for Luka Doncic.
The Lakers made one of the biggest moves in NBA trade deadline history, acquiring Doncic in a deal that sent Anthony Davis to the Dallas Mavericks.
Despite the acquisition of Doncic, the Lakers were eliminated in the first round of the postseason. They suffered a gentleman's sweep to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
After the end of the season for the Lakers, as the Indiana Pacers and the Oklahoma City Thunder battle in the NBA Finals, Los Angeles legend Magic Johnson joined "Get Up," where he spoke on the Lakers' season.
Johnson is applying pressure to Doncic, explaining that he expects the former Dallas star to bring a championship to Los Angeles.
"It's great what you did in Dallas," Johnson said. "But the difference is, in Los Angeles, we expect championships. And we expect our superstars to lead us to a championship. LeBron has already done that. Now we want Luka to do the same thing."
Last season, Luka Doncic posted 28.2 points, 8.2 rebounds and 7.7 assists per game.
Doncic has yet to win an NBA title in his career, but just one year ago, the Slovenian native was competing in the NBA Finals, having led the Dallas Mavericks to the final playoff series before losing to the Boston Celtics.

Magic Johnson's word hangs high in the Los Angeles Lakers community.
The former NBA star played for the Lakers from 1979 to 1991 and again in 1996. During his time in Los Angeles, Johnson led the Lakers to five NBA titles. He was named a three-time Finals MVP, three-time NBA MVP, nine-time All-NBA First-Team and 12-time NBA All-Star.
Johnson was also the previous general manager for the Lakers, having served in the role from 2017 to 2019.
