Trevoh Chalobah is in Enzo Maresca’s plans for next season after his Chelsea redemption in the 2024-25 campaign, sources have told Football Insider.
The 25-year-old was recalled from a loan spell at Crystal Palace earlier this year and played a key role for the Blues as they qualified for the Champions League.
Sources say Chalobah, who has been linked with Napoli, will only be sold if they bring in additional reinforcements in what is expected to be a busy summer transfer window.
In a new development, the defender has made his debut for England and could become a regular for the Three Lions ahead of the World Cup next year.
Chalobah is part of the plans at Chelsea
Football Insider revealed on Tuesday (10 June) that Chelsea will accept offers for first-team duo Benoit Badiashile and Axel Disasi this summer – with both players behind Chalobah in the pecking order.
Chelsea would bank pure profit by selling Chalobah as he is an academy product – but he is expected to be given another chance at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues are in a strong position with the newly-minted international under contract at the club until June 2028.
He made 19 appearances across all competitions for Chelsea in the second half of the 2024-25 season.
The centre-back could lift yet another trophy with his boyhood club this summer when he plays in the Club World Cup in the United States.

Palace confident of beating Chelsea to Diomande
Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are confident they can beat the likes of Chelsea and Man United to the signing of Sporting CP star Ousmane Diomande.
Former Man United and Blackburn chief scout Mick Brown claimed that Oliver Glasner wants to persuade the 21-year-old to join his project.
Football Insider revealed in April that Sporting will accept £50million offers for Diomande amid interest from elite Premier League clubs.
