Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is fresh off another successful NBA season, having played in his 22nd season in the league.
James led the Lakers to the postseason alongside Los Angeles star Luka Doncic.
While the Lakers threw all the marbles into the basket, luring Doncic to Los Angeles ahead of the trade deadline, they were defeated in the first round of the playoffs.
After the season, James and the rest of the party were preparing for a redemption year, with the Lakers forward heading into his 23rd season in the NBA.
As James works through the offseason process, he spent some time away from the basketball court, serving as an ambassador for his very own, "LeBron James Family Foundation."
James previously spoke with high school students, where he was confronted with a question.
"Hello, my name is CeCe Wilson, I go to STEM high school," Wilson said. "I’m a junior. My real passion to be a race car driver and that’s like a real hard to access sport since you already have to be like rich. Would there be like anything you can help people like me dream to do that?”
James responded with a promising message for Wilson, who is aspiring to enter the racing scene.
“Say no more, CeCe,” James said. “I will make sure that you get all of the resources and things done for you to be able to live out your passion,” James said.
LeBron James explained to Wilson that he would be able to experience the extensive background of NASCAR drivers, helping the student learn from professionals.
“I’ll get right on there. Over the last few years we’ve made a lot of connections with a lot of people in NASCAR and if that’s something that your super passionate about, we will make sure that you get to some events and be able to be there, get into the cockpit. See some of the cars, how they’re built. How these cars race. We will get that done. I can’t get a lot of things done but I can get that done for you."
After his promise, the "LeBron James Family Foundation" highlighted James' decision, showcasing videos of Wilson attending a NASCAR event and speaking with personnel at a race.

While LeBron James continues to grow his brand and build a community outside of basketball, he hasn't skipped a beat on the court.
Last season with the Los Angeles Lakers, James posted 24.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game.
