Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman had what some considered one of the best draft classes in 2025 despite having to select lower than the rest of the NFL.
The Eagles selected 10 guys in the draft, as they appeared to have gotten steals at multiple spots during the draft. Players like first-round pick Jihaad Campbell and second-round pick Andrew Mukuba had high grades and fell to Philadelphia.
After the Mukuba selection, some believe the Eagles have their true sleeper pick in the fourth-round pick, Nebraska defensive tackle Ty Robinson.
Robinson is going to be a problem in 2025
CBS Sports writer Chris Trapasso examined 2025 draft picks from the first round who are sleepers poised to play key roles on their teams. Trapasso likes what he has seen out of Robinson and the potential to replace former Eagle Milton Williams.
"Robinson has an NFL-caliber frame and muscle, and at Nebraska he emerged as a disruptive force in his final season in Lincoln. Robinson had seven sacks, 13 tackles for loss and four pass deflections at the line. We know the Eagles want to rush the quarterback in waves, and they lost Milton Williams in free agency. Robinson has the giddy up and brute strength to be part of a platoon that replaces Williams' productivity in Philadelphia in 2025."
Last year at Nebraska, Robinson was selected to the third-team All-Big Ten team after racking up 37 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, seven sacks, four pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 13 games. He was also an honorable mention for the All-Big Ten team in 2023.
Robinson has made quite an impression on the fans in Philadelphia and his new teammates. His viral clip of him manhandling tackling dummies at OTAs got fans riled up about him. Even one of his teammates, Jalen Carter, gave the rookie massive compliments.

He hasn't even taken a snap on the NFL field, but Robinson already looks like he's going to be special. Robinson is also working with linemen like Carter and Jordan Davis, who will be essential for his development, as they are two of the best interior linemen in the NFL.
Robinson will likely see the field as a rotational player in his rookie year, but Eagles fans and the team itself are expecting big things from the young man.
