Leeds United want to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic after he was left out of their Club World Cup squad, according to talkSPORT.
The Whites have returned to the Premier League after two seasons in the Championship, with manager Daniel Farke leading the side to 100 points and the league title in the 2024/25 campaign.
But the end of the campaign saw him drop first-choice goalkeeper Illan Meslier for the final seven games after a string of high-profile errors, and now the Serbia international has emerged as an option to become his replacement.

Petrovic spent the 2024/25 season out on loan with Ligue 1 side Strasbourg, and his performances not only earned him their Player of the Year award but also saw manager Liam Rosenior describe him as "world-class".
He is now set to return to Stamford Bridge this summer, but with Robert Sanchez, Filip Jorgensen and Mike Penders all competing for the number one spot, Petrovic was left out of the squad for the Club World Cup this summer.
A move away from the club now looks to be on the cards as he pursues more regular first-team football ahead of the 2026 World Cup, and Leeds United are said to be in the mix to seal a deal for the 25-year-old.

Meslier is expected to be on the move away from Elland Road, while Karl Darlow is unlikely to be the number one going into the 2025/26 campaign.
Leeds have also been interested in a move in Southampton star Aaron Ramsdale for the position, while Wolves stopper Sam Johnstone has also been linked with a move as they look for a new goalkeeper.
But a move for Petrovic could well be their most plausible option with Chelsea seemingly happy to sell, the player looking to move and Premier League football to offer alongside a number one spot.
