Gyokeres deal, new goalkeeper: Manchester United dream line up for opening day of next season - …

Manchester United are looking at several ways to strengthen their squad in the summer transfer window as they look to get back on track under Ruben Amorim. A deal has already been agreed to bring Wolves star Matheus Cunha to the club, while a revised bid for Brentford ace Bryan Mbeumo is also expected.

United have also prioritised a striker this summer, with Sporting star Viktor Gyokeres viewed as the dream addition to the forward line. However, he won't come cheap and the club are well aware they will need to sell players first if they are able to fund a move.

Amorim would also like to add another wing-back and a central midfielder to his first-team squad and they could also move for a goalkeeper if they sell either Andre Onana or Altay Bayindir. Here is a look at what their dream starting line up could be on the opening day of next season.

United could be in the market for a new goalkeeper this summer and Villa star Martinez would be an upgrade. He will be suspended for the opening day due to his red card at Old Trafford last month though, so either Onana or Bayindir is likely to start instead.
