Rod Woodson Makes Big Prediction About Aaron Rodgers

The Pittsburgh Steelers have officially found their starting quarterback.

Barring an unforeseen setback or injury, Aaron Rodgers will be under center for the team in 2025, hoping to take them to the next level.

Rodgers was linked to the team for some time before signing his one-year contract, and it was a relief for his supporters to see him put pen to paper.

There are many questions about Rodgers coming into the season, with the biggest being about his ability to lead a team to the playoffs.

He couldn’t do it with the New York Jets, a team that was seemingly poised to make a run with the right QB, but the Steelers seem convinced that he’s the right man for the job.

The media is torn about what Rodgers can do, but Steelers legend Rod Woodson is confident in the 41-year-old.

“Two years removed from the injury, he is gonna be a better player,” Woodson said on “Up & Adams.”

While many are concerned about the Achilles injury Rodgers suffered in 2023, Woodson believes that his experience will help him succeed.

Rodgers has a less stout receiving corps than he did with the Jets, at least on paper.

DK Metcalf was brought in to be the new WR1, but behind him, the Steelers either have unproven young players or older veterans.

However, Rodgers had suboptimal receiving options with the Green Bay Packers besides Davante Adams, so he’s worked with top-heavy units in the past.

It will be interesting to see what head coach Mike Tomlin can accomplish with Rodgers leading the offense.
