Liverpool plotting £100million swoop for Champions League winner - Liverpool News
Liverpool are plotting an £100million approach for Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola according to TalkSport. The newly crowned Premier League champions look set for a busy summer transfer window as they launch a title defence. Arne Slot is prioritizing attacking reinforcements with a striker and winger known to be of interest to the Reds.
TalkSport has reported that Barcola is the new name on the list at Anfield, despite the club nearing a British-transfer record £127million deal for Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen. Liverpool have already signed Wirtz’s Leverkusen teammate Jeremie Frimpong and are also working on a deal for Bournemouth left back Milos Kerkez.
The total of these transfers would push Liverpool’s spending to over £300m. Liverpool may have to offload a few players to raise funds for this outlay.

Striker Darwin Nunez is expected to leave Anfield this summer with many Saudi Pro League clubs circling the player. Luis Diaz, Diogo Jota, and Harvey Elliot could also depart.
Liverpool targeting Barcola
PSG star Barcola came through the ranks at Lyon and has impressed in the French capital. He started the season as first choice but saw his game time reduce since the January arrival of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
Youngster Desire Doue has also impressed in the second half of the season, resulting in Barcola having to settle for a place on the bench for large stretches. He remained a trusted player for the Luis Enrique however, starting in last month’s Coupe de France final win over Reims.
He scored a brace in that game to remind his manager of his ability in the attacking areas. Barcola was widely expected to start the Champions League final against Inter but he instead made a late cameo as his side thrashed the Italians 5-0.
The 22 year old is known for his pace and flair, playing primarily on the left wing. Bayern Munich is also interested in the player following the departure of Leroy Sane to Galatasaray.
TalkSport also reports that any move for Barcola would not hinder a move for Newcastle striker Alexander Isak who remains a top target for the Reds.
That deal is seen as difficult however, as Newcastle would likely seek an excess of over £150 million.
