Rodgers is set to play for his third professional team after a long, public back-and-forth about the possibility of signing with the Steelers. That deal was finally announced with pen to paper on Saturday, with Rodgers inking a one-year, $13.6 million deal worth up to $19.5 million.

The 41-year-old comes off his second season in a disappointing marriage with the New York Jets, which ended with a 5-12 record in 2024 and Rodgers being released.

The Steelers also traded for wide receiver DK Metcalf and moved George Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys as part of the offensive overhaul. The team opens training camp on July 23, its preseason schedule on Aug. 9, and Week 1 of the regular season against the Jets on Sept. 7.
