Felicia Schröder may not have made Peter Gerhardsson’s Sweden squad for this summer’s UEFA [Women’s EURO 2025](https://womenfootball.blog/womens-euro-2025/), but the 18-year-old forward is widely regarded as one of the most promising young talents in European football. According to [Sportbladet](https://www.aftonbladet.se/sportbladet/fotboll/a/xmB8WR/avslojar-felicia-schroder-jagas-av-storklubbar), several top clubs are reportedly interested in signing her. The list includes Chelsea, Manchester City, VfL Wolfsburg, FC Barcelona, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Juventus, and OL Lyonnes.
Schröder began her youth career at IFK Björkö before turning professional with BK Häcken. She made her debut in April 2023, replacing Rosa Kafaji in the 90th minute. Since then, she has made 83 appearances for the club, scoring an impressive 47 goals and providing 10 assists.
This season, she has continued her remarkable form, currently leading the Damallsvenskan scoring charts. According to Sportbladet, several scouts have attended matches to watch her live, and BK Häcken is preparing what could be a record-breaking contract offer to keep her at the club. However, with her contract set to expire in December, Schröder could leave on a free transfer if no new deal is signed.
On the international stage, Schröder has represented Sweden at U15, U16, and U17 levels. She made her senior debut on May 30, 2025, in a Women’s Nations League match against Italy. Coming on for Kosovare Asllani in the 62nd minute, she was unable to find the breakthrough, and the game ended in a 0–0 draw.
Chelsea has already strengthened its squad this summer with two new signings. The club prioritized the goalkeeping position, bringing in Swiss international Livia Peng on a contract running until 2029. Peng, who has long dreamed of playing for Chelsea, joins the team as a key addition between the posts.
The Blues also secured the signature of 19-year-old forward Mara Alber from TSG 1899 Hoffenheim on a four-year deal. A standout at youth level, Alber made her Bundesliga debut at just 16 and was joint top scorer at the U17 European Championship. She later helped Germany win silver at the 2023 U19 Euros and quickly became a key player at Hoffenheim despite her age.
