Chelsea transfers:£55 million winger confident to join the Blues

Chelsea have been showing strong interest in one Bundesliga winger. The player is made available for £55 million in the transfer market. The Blues failed to land him before deadline day on 10th june, but the player is still confident that the deal will happen this summer itself.

Chelsea are keen to improve their squad even further this summer. Enzo Maresca is being backed after helping the club to achieve Champions League football. The Italian is already provided with Liam Delap as new striker. Now, he is demanding a new winger.

The Blues want a right footed left winger. But, the want him to play on right and in middle when needed. In addition, they want him to be young which has been their top priority. Chelsea have a perfect fit as per their demands in form of English winger playing for German club.

The star in question here is Jamie Gittens of Borussia Dortmund. He is 20 years old and had a very good season with Dortmund. The player has told Dortmund that he wants to leave this summer. The German giants are ready to let him leave if their demands are met.

Jamie Gittens confident to join Chelsea this summer

Chelsea tried to sign Gittens before the deadline day on 10th June. They wanted him to play for them in Club World Cup. But, the deal has collapsed and Gittens will stay with Dortmund. However, the transfer saga is not going to end here.

According to TBR Football, Gittens is confident that he will join Chelsea this simmer. The Blues are expected to reopen their talks once the summer transfer window reopens. They want to sign the 20 year old desperately even after failing in the first attempt.

Dortmund are expected to let Gittens leave for £55 million. Earlier, they wanted a much higher fee than this. But, the player’s dip in the form in second half of season has dropped his valuation. Gittens is expected to start for Chelsea on the left wing position next season if he completes the move.
