Barcelona goalkeeper [Marc-Andre ter Stegen is reportedly wanted in Turkey by Galatasaray](https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2025/6/9/24446038/gossip-man-utd-galatasaray-eyeing-up-move-for-barcelonas-marc-andre-ter-stegen) amid an uncertain future in Catalunya.
Kenan Koçak, a Turkish coach who is also said to have a good relationship with Hansi Flick, has talked up a possible move for the Germany international.
> “Ter Stegen’s move to Galatasaray is a real possibility, and we’re completely open to negotiations,” he said, according to AS.
>
> “He could be the ideal replacement for Muslera. He’s a goalkeeper with a wealth of experience. I don’t know if Flick will let him go, but if Galatasaray is serious about it, why not?
>
> “If Barça allows it, it can happen. It all depends on professionalism and negotiating skills. Where there’s financial solidity, any transfer is possible. Players first evaluate the financial conditions and then the rest.”
A move to Turkey for Ter Stegen looks unlikely at present, with the [German stopper believed to be determined to stay and fight for his place](https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2025/6/10/24446636/marc-andre-ter-stegen-ready-for-the-competition-and-wants-to-stay-at-barcelona).
However, if it does emerge that he’s not in Barcelona’s plans for next season then he could have a change of heart, particularly in a World Cup year.
